Christopher R. Dougall, CFA
President
An investment analyst and portfolio manager since 1981, Christopher is the Firm’s president and the head of the investment committee. He earned a Phi Beta Kappa key as an undergraduate at Harvard, and received his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago. His English Bulldogs have served as our mascots.
Curt Dunnavan
Chairman of the Board
Curt founded C.C. Dunnavan & Co. forty years ago. An investment analyst and portfolio manager since 1962, he manages client relationships and guides investment research. He earned his BA and MBA from Dartmouth College. Curt has served on the boards of directors for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and MacPhail Center for Music.
Tom Larson
Vice President
Tom has been a financial advisor since 2010. Prior to his career in financial services, he was Director of Admission at several institutions. Given his unique background, Tom is a leading expert on education planning and college funding strategies, and was recognized in 2015 as Volunteer of the Year at Best Prep for his work teaching high school students financial literacy. He received his BA from Hamline University and his MA from Augsburg University. Tom volunteers at his church and coaches youth community sports,
Helena Dougall
Assistant Vice President, Investment Analyst
Helena was educated at Minnehaha Academy and Augsburg College, where she received her BA. She has worked in the field of psychology at St. David’s Center, aiding children with special needs. Helena volunteers at Second Harvest Heartland, and is a member of the Junior League of Minneapolis.
Lloyd Hudson
Operations Manager
Lloyd graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1988 with a degree in political science. He worked for Piper Jaffray from 1988 to 1995, and Piper Capital Management from 1995 until 1998, when he started with Dunnavan. Lloyd is also the Chief Compliance Officer.
Alexander Krueger
Intern
Alex is a senior at the University of Minnesota, studying applied economics. He is currently the Vice President of Finance at his professional-social agriculture fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho. Alex’s interests include beekeeping, traveling, and hockey.
