An investment analyst and portfolio manager since 1981, Christopher is the Firm’s president and the head of the investment committee. He earned a Phi Beta Kappa key as an undergraduate at Harvard, and received his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago. His English Bulldog, Maximus, is our mascot.
Chairman of the Board
Curt founded C.C. Dunnavan & Co. over thirty years ago. An investment analyst and portfolio manager since 1962, he manages client relationships and guides investment research. He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from Dartmouth College. Curt has served on the boards of directors for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and MacPhail Center for Music.
Liz was educated at St. Paul Academy, Harvard College (where she received her B.A. in 2008), and the London School of Economics. She sits on the Board of Directors for The LEAD Project, as well as the Young Members Committee Board for the Minneapolis Club, and volunteers through the Junior League of Minneapolis. In 2005, Liz received a fellowship from the Harvard Club of Minnesota to develop the Early College Awareness Program in the Twin Cities, and continues to help support those efforts.
Assistant Portfolio Manager
Pat graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism but found she appreciated numbers more than words. She worked for several investment firms in Minneapolis, including the now defunct Investment Advisers and Norwest Capital Advisers (predecessor to Lowry Hill). She enjoys walking the dogs, jewelry making, and crossword puzzles. She is the acting Treasurer of the Medicine Lake Women’s Club.
Lloyd graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1988 with a degree in political science. He worked for Piper Jaffray from 1988 to 1995, and Piper Capital Management from 1995 until 1998, when he started with Dunnavan. Lloyd is also the Chief Compliance Officer.
Helena was educated at Minnehaha Academy and Augsburg College, where she received her B.A. She has worked in the field of psychology at St. David’s Center, aiding children with special needs. Helena volunteers at Second Harvest Heartland, is on the Young Members’ Committee Board for the Minneapolis Club, and is involved with Mount Olivet Church.
